FAQs

Where do you cover?

We cover the whole of London and quite a lot of the south east.

What do you charge?

It varies depending on numbers, distance and the time of year, but our prices start at £300.

What if it rains?

If you book, we will never force you to go ahead. If the weather is predicted to be bad, we’ll keep an eye on the forecast with you, and make as late a call as possible. We’ll postpone if we can, or cancel if we both agree to, and will refund your deposit.

If heavy rain is forecast, we bring along a big tarp and tie it up, so it keeps most of the rain off.

What should kids wear?

Clothes they don’t mind getting a bit dirty, and suitable footwear. Mozzie spray is unfortunately now necessary in woods in the summer.

What activities do you do?

We normally get through:

  • den building (done properly, and tested with water with victims inside it)

  • bow and arrow making (real, very good kids’ bows and arrows, with a string and not a nasty elastic)

  • firelighting (safe, basic, age-appropriate)

  • tug of war

  • active games

  • marshmallow toasting

  • tracking, shooting and skinning a wild boar (if time allows)

How do I book?

Just get in touch with us using the contact form.

How long do parties last?

Usually for 2 hours. We recommend that you invite guests 10 minutes before kick-off, so that you get your money’s worth.

Is food provided?

We (honestly) bring along edible bugs (no charge) for the kids to eat, but other than that, you can give them whatever you like. Little food boxes are popular, as is pizza, ordered to arrive about 40 mins before the party ends.

Do you have mats for them to sit on?

Yes.

When do kids eat?

We normally get the kids to sit for their party food in the last 20ish minutes of a party. They toast marshmallows (in small, safe groups) at the same time, and eat their meal while waiting their turn.

How are you different to other party companies?

We’re small - less than 12 instructors - so don’t have any instructors that don’t cut the mustard. Lots of us are teachers during the week, so are used to handling lots of lively children.

I have a question that’s not on here.

Please just get in touch.
